Mundesley is perfect for a day by the sea

Our village has its own fine sandy beach and RNLI lifeguards in attendance 7 days a week during the Summer. As well as safe bathing there is the Beach Café for food and drink and a shop selling all those beach essentials. Watch out for the colourful beach huts!Mundesley Beach

There are two other beaches nearby with RNLI lifeguards at Cromer and Sea Palling. If you want to get away from it all why not just wander along the beach and find your own quiet space. After all there is 30 miles of continuous beach from Cromer all the way down the East Coast to Great Yarmouth.

At Horsey Gap if you are lucky you will find a colony of grey seals which lands on the beach from time to time. But if you really want to see them have a bracing winter walk on the beach between mid-December and mid-January when they come ashore to give birth to their young.

Or head for the North Coast where you will find stunning, wide beaches at Wells and Holkham.
